Configuration/Change Management Services
LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for a Configuration/Change Management Services to support our contract at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) DDSB based in San Antonio, Texas.
Responsibilities:
Document the approval, deployment, and configuration of all Infrastructure system/service Configuration Items (CI) into or that exist within the infrastructure production environment.
Manage and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)—enterprise level; to implement continuous process improvement efforts—analyze/modify the current enterprise change framework and provide status reporting prior to and/or after remediation actions/fixes have been engineered and executed; validate deployment plans have been provided and follow existing performance limitations.
Provide customers and government lead with accurate, timely information on infrastructure system/service CIs.
Document and track 100 percent of modifications using the established CMDB—such as Remedy, ServiceNow, or other approved ITSM system(s).
Provide training to change coordinators, initiators for using the CMDB.
Establish and ensure pertinent artifacts are generated/maintained to begin establishing functional and design “baselines” while solutions are being modified in Enterprise Solutions Architecture—i.e., software and/or hardware.
Conduct configuration audit/verification activities to determine undocumented changes and to limit service disruptions/outages.
Employ change management status accounting strategies to ensure board members, system owners and stakeholders are apprised of anticipated/ongoing/completed deployment/transition activities within the enterprise.
Conduct Change Ticket business reviews to standardize and strengthen change ticket content used by board members in order to determine risk acceptance. Assist with impact and root cause analysis and report findings, when necessary.
Gather all document Configuration Items (CIs) upon ticket completion and house relevant document CIs into the KM repository—thereafter, advance tickets to closed.
Create and manage all Configuration Management foundation documents:
- Enterprise CM Policy Letter
- Enterprise CM Plan
- Enterprise CM Plan Template Guide (for systems and MTF applications/systems)
- Technical Review Board (TRB) Charter
- Legacy Review Board (LRB) Charter
- Configuration Control Board (CCB) Charter and/or Architecture Review Board (ARB
- Change Management Diagrams to include CM Framework, process flows, swim diagrams, others as required.
Develops and institutionalizes Infrastructure CM policies, processes, procedures, and plans.
Directs and monitors execution of periodic audits and develops strategy for corrective action. Interfaces with other processes and/or business functions and serves as a SME for Infrastructure CM activities.
Identifies and captures infrastructure CI impact and dependency streams. Assists with developing and documenting CM processes and other CM artifacts as required.
Manages, tracks and updates infrastructure CI records-- including asset attributes and relationship mapping. Analyzes change request ticket data and creates applicable metric reports and presentations.
Conducts review of CM foundational documents prior to submission to CM government team leads.
Qualifications:
- 4 Years of Experience
- Active DoD Secret Clearance OR Current DHA Public Trust
- CMDB in Remedy/ServiceNow
